When a local appraiser is the better call

We are not an in-person appraiser. Nobody from InsurifyAI comes to look at your car. We work from your photos, the repair estimate, the history report and the insurer's valuation.

Sometimes that is not enough. If your insurer's appraisal clause or your state requires a physical inspection by a licensed appraiser, hire a local appraiser. That is the right choice, and we will tell you so. The same goes for classic, custom or heavily modified cars.

Our edge is price, speed and being online. For a modern car where the fight is about market value, that is usually what you need.

Vehicle appraisal questions

How much does a vehicle appraisal cost?
Local independent appraisers typically charge $300–$600 for a written report. Public adjusters typically take 10–15% of the claim. Ours is a flat fee: $249 for a diminished value report and letter, $349 for a total loss report and letters, or $39 for a letter only. Never a percentage of what you recover.
Is there a vehicle appraisal near me?
We work online, so near you means wherever you are. We serve claims in all US states. If you need someone to look at the car in person, search for a local appraiser instead.
Do you inspect the car in person?
No. We are not an in-person appraiser. We build the report from your photos, the repair estimate, the history report and the insurer's valuation. If your policy's appraisal clause or your state requires a physical inspection by a licensed appraiser, hire a local appraiser. That is the right choice for that case.
Can I use this for a total loss claim?
Yes. The Full Claim Kit ($349) gives you a valuation report with market comps and letters to dispute the insurer's offer.
Can I use this for a diminished value claim?
Yes. The Diminished Value Kit ($249) gives you a diminished value report with market comps and a demand letter to the at-fault driver's insurer.
Do you promise a result?
No. The insurer decides what it pays, and every claim turns on its own car, market and policy. We give you the evidence and the letter. You present the claim.
